I am Emeritus Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix AZ. In the last decade, I've tried to improve the care of MS patients in Arizona; BNI has a large multidisciplinary MS program where we perform research on new MS treatments and provide a large variety of patient care services. I've personally taken care of MS patients and am deeply aware of how this disease can impact both young and old. We have made great strides in MS care, but groups like Bike the US for MS are essential to ensuring that the most effective treatments reach all who suffer with this disease regardless of where they live or their ability to pay.
I participated in the 2019 ride from Maine to Seattle, and am excited to get back on the road again for this important cause. Funds raised will go both to Bike the US for MS and to the Barrow Neurological Institue MS Program to advance clinical care and research. I hope you will support me in this effort.
