This is my 4th segment ride with Bike the US for MS. In 2014, I rode across Virginia for the first week of the TransAmerica Tour as a very new, very timid cyclist. On top of being a fairly novice camper, I had only learned how to wear the clipless (the clip-in kind!) pedals, how to ride hills, and did my longest ride of 40 miles ever just one week before the event. What an exhausting, but fun and inspiring experience I was in for! I fell so in love with this organization, the cause, and the people that we were raising money for that I returned for two segments in 2015: the first (Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont) and last (Washington) weeks of the Northern Tier. Each year, I've wanted to get back out there and am finally able to make it happen in 2023! I'll be riding from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Fargo, North Dakota over the first week of July, as part of the Northern Tier Route! I can't wait!
